The guy isn't even that good. He has no dribble skills like Michael Jordan,Kobe, iverson, carter, or even marbury. He has no style whatsoever compare to the players name above. He looks uncomfortable when he try to dribble or do something flashy (yea he does Lebron azzkisser).y'all remember how he traveled against the wizard game 6 at the end. The only way he could score is to bully people in his way. NO FITNESS OR SKILLS WHATSOEVER AND He's so boring to watch. I don't understand why so many people like this sorry excuse of a player. people out there who disagree with me, surely don't know crap about basketball or probably don't know how to play basketball. He's overated in that he is not more talented than Kobe Bryant but the people who run the NBA are trying to push him because Kobe was accused of rape and they're worried about keeping a clean image which is pretty messed up and evil if Kobe really didn't do it. He scores more than Kobe at the same age because back then they wouldn't let Kobe shoot because he was the first SG out of HS and Shaq got all the shots. But Kobe might just be the best scorer ever as far as ability because he shoots the ball a little better than Jordan and I think he has a better crossover. Jordan was a little of a better passer though and had more hang time even though Kobe is a ill dunker in his own right and is probably up there with Dominique Wilkins at dunking. Also people forget that Iverson led his team to the Finals and lost because he had to face a younger Shaq and Kobe but Iverson just averaged 33ppg last season so it's not like he sucks. Kobe is the best player in the NBA but he hasn't really earned the respect of his team mates and fans in general partially because of the rape thing, part because of the Shaq thing(even though Shaq fought with Penny too), and part because people will only shut up when he wins a ring and leads the NBA in scoring in the same season. But Jordan did it and I think if Kobe gets more help and stays healthy he can too. As for James he is very good and might win rings but he is not the next Jordan because he wears 23 that is just ridiculous itself because he's a small/power foward not a shooting/point guard. In my opinion he's more of a cross between a magic johnson or scottie pippen and a power foward. But one thing I think is ridculous is people saying he's the best because he led his team to a winning season so young. Case in point Magic won a ring as a rookie and Jordan didn't until he was 28 which is Kobe's age starting next season. Kobe already has 3. He most likely doesn't have a shot of another one until he's 29-30 because people like KG will be free agents then. I mean Lebron James is great but the best ever? Nah I don't think that's even a fair statement when Kobe led the NBA in scoring, and Iverson was #2. I would say the top 5 in the NBA right now are

1.Kobe

2.Iverson

3.Wade

4.James

5.Shaq-although it's hard to say how much longer he'll hold up just because he still forces the double team.

Over Rated? Hell No. Boring to watch, definately, but give him a break. he's really young and he's just getting started. Will he be the best ever? I doubt it, but who knows? This is one guy that will go as far as he drives himself.

I don't that he is over-hype i think that the media put te most pressure on him to excel because of the bad wrap that the nba tokk when the fight broke out, and the fact of the kobe case so they r looking for the big name player to carry them.

He is one of only three players to average at least 20 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists in their career. Only two other players have done that. Doesn't that make LeBron a great basketball player. Your just a LeBron hater.

I'll bet that Lebron gets his first ring before Jordan got his (7 years). Hell, Jordan's Bulls never even broke .500 until his fourth year. I'm guessing that you judge a players greatness by how many slam dunk contests they win, or by how many times they make the Sportscenter highlights.

I would have to agree with you on this one Lebron is Overrated i think so, but he is one of the premier players in the league right now but he would not be on my top 5 list but would be on my top 10. I can name a couple of people that are better then him........Dirk, KG, Duncan,Kobe, AI, Tmac and yea then he would fit some where after them but he is pretty overrated in my eyes.

Anyways, Lebron is the 3rd player in NBA history to average 20, 5 and 5 in his rookie year (Oscar Robertson and MJ are the other two), is the youngest winner ever of the RoY, has 6,300+ points at only 21 years of age (!!!!!!!) and averaged 31ppg last year. HOW CAN YOU OVER-RATE HIM? He has a 2 to 1 Assist to Turnover ratio, shoots 75% from the line and 46% from the floor!

I don't know what you're thinking here, but I'll tell you a secret.....LeBron is already better than VC and Starbury, and is immesurably more powerful than AI. Kobe and MJ are already in the history books, but LeBron is definitely following right in their footsteps.
